Forgeting Sarah Marshall

Starring: Jason Segel, Kirsten Bell, Mila Kunis, Russell Brand
Directed by: Nicholas Stoller

This film comes form the same team who created and brought us, the awesome, Knocked Up and Superbad AND the 40 year old virgin. Yet again they deliver the gags, witty one liners and a story with real heart.

Starring a cast of relatively unknowns on the silver screen, Kirsten Bell (Seen in hit T.V. show Veronica Mars) plays the neurotic and slightly self-obsessed Sarah Marshall, Mila Kunis (Jackie from That 70’s Show and the voice of Meg in Family Guy) plays the slightly tomboy-like love interest of Sarah Marshall’s ex long term boyfriend, Peter Bretter (Jason Segel). Oh and Britain’s very own Russell Brand is Sarah’s new boyfriend, a rock star with interesting morals. As if that isn’t enough we also have Paul Rudd as a stoned surfer dude, Jonah Hill thrown in for good measure, as an obsessed fan and Bill Hader as Brian, the “helpful” friend!

The film is the ultimate break up comedy, forget the wishy washy “The Break-Up” and see this! It’s much funnier and does not take itself seriously at all! Which is great.

Expect embracing scenarios and outrageous gags plus excellent cameos, an ideal date movie as it’s told form the point of view of a bloke who is heartbroken.

Rather than just a moaning woman! It even teaches the audience a lesson or two.

“He sounds like he’s from Landan!”
